History
Founded in Albion, Michigan, Vestil began in 1958 when T&S Equipment owners wanted a new company that would focus on manufacturing truck and rail dock equipment. They started with 20 employees and only 11,000 square feet. After expanding with a purchase of the United Tractor dock seal division, Vestil redefined its product strategy to encompass material handling equipment.
In 1982, the company moved to Angola, Indiana to support future growth efforts. The material handling market grew, and so did Vestil along with it, building a new manufacturing facility in Angola as of 1989. Seven more expansions and a third plant brought Vestil into the 21st century, with a fourth plant purchased in 2010.
Today, 15 full-time engineers deliver daily on mechanical, electrical, fluid power and industrial disciplines.
